quotations COACH JERRY'S FAVORITE QUOTES FROM WEEK'S PAST

OCTOBER 26, 2003: This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, becasue it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody and Nobody did what Anybody could have done!

NOVEMBER 1, 2003: The dictionary is the only place where success comes before work!

NOVEMBER 9, 2003: The price of success is hard work and persistence; the price of failure is much cheaper.

NOVEMBER 22, 2003: One can't do everything, but everyone can do something.

NOVEMBER 25, 2003 Winning is HARD. Winning requires extraordinary HARD work, committment and cooperation. If it weren't for the HARD, then everyone would win. The HARD is what makes it GREAT.

DECEMBER 13, 2003 Team Rules: 1) There is no "I" in TEAM. 2) The TEAM always comes first. 3) Individual gain(scoring) does not have as much reward unless the TEAM wins. 4) Remember hockey is the ultimate TEAM game. 5) All players will respect their opponents and their teammates. 6) Never, ever riducule an opponent or reprimand a teammate. 7) Always play hard, give more than you think you are capable of giving! 8) When we lose, we say little - when we win, we say less. 9) Do not argue with the referees, they are human like you; they will make mistakes (bad calls); we all make mistakes, arguing will not change the call, but will only hurt you and the TEAM. 10) Do not get mad. 11) Never showboat!.
